Noticing the Hook of a Story

Noticing Hooks: Real Life Example

For this example I have gone to Google News and found the top story: Joe Paterno, Penn States's famous football coach. The news points at a specific behavior: In 2002 Paterno did not strongly follow up after he found his assistant coach to be a pedophile. The abuse continued for nine more years.

As you read or heard about this story, did you notice a hook showing up? Where in your body did you notice the hook? What was your next behavior after noticing the hook?
